About Us

My wife and I, (Glenn and Jo Novotny ) and my Daughter, Tara Rossignol are from Appleton, Wisconsin, and have lived in Florida for most of the last 19 years. We have operated as reptile brokers and breeders for 12 years, as well as owning two pet stores, one in Pensacola, Florida and another one in Appleton, Wisconsin.

We have trained and groomed dogs, cats and birds over the years. Tara is educated in holistic and natural care of dogs and is an excellent master groomer. Tara’s love for animals came from growing up around all our critters and is a great asset to our dog grooming spa.

I am an artist, and have been a glass blower, making sea life from glass for gift stores on the Gulf Coast. I was also an air brush artist on Clearwater Beach for seven years. With this artistic background, along with being a barber in the Navy, (I served two terms in Viet Nam) I have become an exceptional groomer over the years.

My specialty is poodles. I started grooming dogs 30 plus years ago. I have owned 4 standard poodles and 3 toy poodles. Practice makes perfect.

My wife, Jo –Ann, is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Coordinator at our local hospital. She was a beautician for over 20 years and brings to the business a helping hand with shampooing, washing, brushing and loving some of our furry friends whenever she has time free from her job.
